I2 Results
For many of our I2 athletes, the GS held at Vorlage on Sunday was their first opportunity to compete in an event where they could see their individual times. Our racers also got to see what kind of competition is out there; there certainly is no shortage of strong, young skiers.
In a field of 34 girls and 55 boys, our athletes had fun and performed well providing some good results including several top 15 finishes. Our top results for the 2-race format were as follows:
Race 1
Erin H 11th
Sammy 12th
Alexandre 15th
Race 2
Erin H 12th
Travis 7th
Alexandre 12th
K2 Results
Taschereau Cup
Just recently we had some k2 athletes go to Taschereau cup at Mt Tremblant. Calabogie was proudly represented by outstanding athletes that qualified for this national race. As always they made us proud. On the girls side Mckenzie Reid finished 20 in the slalom and 33 in the giant slalom. What a great standing girl. Daniel Dupuis had an outstanding run in the slalom and placed 44 in the giant slalom. Nick Dowd did us proud finishing 4th in slalom and 9th in Giant slalom. This race is run on the one of most difficult run on the mountain and hosts the best athletes from the all over east Canada. I know that we are so proud that these athletes participated and represented us at this big event. Congratulates guys.
