Patrick Demers, the program coordinator for the NCO has subbmitted his resignation to futher his career with the Quebec ski team.
Here is his message to athletes and team members;
It is with a profound regret that I announce to you today that I am leaving the NCO Ski Team to carry on with my career and work with the Québec Ski Team for next season. I would like to thank all of you for your support and trust and I feel comfortable to leave the team as your are in very good hands witht he coaching staff that is in place for next season. I hope that you’ll remember as an individual who worked with passion, dedication and enthousiasm to help the young athletes reach the next level in and outside the sport. I will remember you, parents and supporters like a group of committed people trying to give their best to allow the athletes to develop themselves as an elite crew. I will remeber the athletes as being individuals trying to find their way into the world of competition with a raising passion and a great amount of work on and off the hill. I’ll remeber those days at the summer camps, the speed training, the podiums, the attacks from the back of the pack, the crashes, the team diners, the cooking, the powder, all the incredible runs you did throughout the season, the smiles and the tears and more precisely, of all of you individuals. Thanks
Good luck and Grace the sport!
